For over a hundred years, Chabé has stood out for its sense of service and its ability to reinvent itself. In response to today’s environmental challenges, the Group has chosen to make responsible mobility a cornerstone of its strategy. An ambitious commitment, carried at every level of the company, that is already shaping the future of our activity.
Reducing the carbon footprint of our activities starts with transforming our main asset: the fleet. In four years, the share of low-emission vehicles (electric and hybrid) has almost doubled, now reaching 53% of the Group’s total fleet, compared to 27% in 2020. This progress has been made possible thanks to the integration of models such as the BMW i7, the Mercedes EQE, the Range Rover P440e hybrid, and the Bentley Bentayga hybrid.
It should also be noted that the entire fleet complies with the latest environmental standards (EURO 6) and is equipped with Start&Go technology.
At Chabé, the role of the chauffeur goes far beyond driving. All our salaried chauffeurs are trained in eco-driving, a method that helps both to reduce CO₂ emissions, to ensure a smoother and safer drive, and to limit fatigue behind the wheel.
This approach is both a source of comfort for passengers and a mark of professionalism for employees. Each eco-driving training session helps avoid an average of 236 kg of CO₂ per chauffeur, per year. A concrete action with high impact.
Chabé does not stop at reducing emissions. The Group adopts a 360° responsible vision: inclusion of our stakeholders with a CSR code of conduct, annual monitoring of the company’s carbon footprint, continuous training of teams in ecological transition and sustainability, management of energy consumption across our sites, waste reduction and responsible practices in our offices and vehicles, careful selection of onboard products (such as plant-based water bottles), and economic dynamism with strong local roots through the selection of local service providers.
Committing to more responsible mobility means rethinking every detail of our activity, from the choice of vehicles to client relations, including training, technology, logistics, and resource management.
It is also a company philosophy, embodied by all our employees. As Guillaume Connan, President of Chabé, puts it:
“CSR is not a constraint, but an opportunity. Moving forward in this direction, with ambition, sets us apart and strengthens our position as a benchmark in the sector.”
